LAST CALL FOR PICTURES!!!
The last meeting for turning in pictures is approaching. February 9 is the last day to turn in pictures to be in the yearbook. If you haven't taken your pictures yet, plan to do so in the upcoming week. Bring your pictures to the Feb. 9th meeting. The meeting will be in room 218. If you cannot attend, just drop off your pictures to either Mrs. Beech or Mrs. Leavitt. Things are coming to a close and it is time to start wrapping up the yearbook. See you at the meeting.
THE MEETING FOR THURSDAY, 12/8, HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!
The photographer has not yet delivered the CD containing all of the student pictures; therefore, we have nothing to proof-read at this time. As soon as I have the CD, I will reschedule the meeting. Listen for the announcement or check the web site for further updates.

12/8 Meeting for proof-reading committee
1/12 - Meeting for all sstudents who signed out to do music candids, staff candids, club candids, and student candids
2/9 - All winter pictures are due
2/23 - All other pictures (candids) are due
3/7 - Meeting for advertising committee.
3/12-3/22 - Yearbook sale
6/6 Meeting for distribution commitee
12/8 Meeting for proof-reading committee
1/12 - Meeting for all sstudents who signed out to do music candids, staff candids, club candids, and student candids

Attention 8th graders!
Don't forget the meeting on Thursday, October 20th. At this meeting we will discuss the yearbook cover. We might have the opportunity to do a custom cover, so come with ideas.
Welcome to Yearbook Club
This year will bring a new look to the yearbook because we have a new online program and a new advisor. The online program will allow several students to work on the yearbook at one time which should save us time. And, I welcome Mrs. Leavitt as an advisor to help with the yearbook layout and formatting. By now you should have paid your participation fee to the office and signed out pictures to take. Our next meeting will be Thursday, October 6th, for members who signed out fall pictures. Please bring your pictures so we can load them onto the computer. If you signed out to do pictures of the fall musical, you should also attend this meeting.
October 20th is the meeting for 8th graders only. We will look at the available covers for this year's book and make a selection.
I have had many students signing out press passes already. I'm glad we are getting pictures. Friday, October 7th, is the fall pep rally. I will need 2 people taking pictures at the rally so make sure you see me for a press pass if you plan to take pictures. I have only 2 passes: therefore, they will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
